spent a decade in education, making sure students in historically oppressed and systemically under-resourced communities had the opportunities they deserved to learn and thrive. As the Director of Academics at an arts-based charter school, I worked to make sure teachers were supported in creating a learning experience that was equally as beautiful as our arts program.

I help people see connections between seemingly unrelated things and create magic by bringing those ideas to life. We will explore and experiment and play - your growth will never be more fun.
The journey will be fun, and playful, but not always easy.
As we learn to champion ourselves, we feel the very real constriction of being around people who won’t do the same. Dissonance arises. It’s uncomfortable. We lose people who won’t let their conception of who we are evolve. We find new people who support us along the way.
Big change can be uncomfortable. We feel untethered in the space between “how it’s been” and “how it can be,” and we sometimes feel downright crazy. It requires faith in ourselves and the Universe. A trust that we’re on the right path.
Embracing emergence rather than forcing our plans takes practice. Allowing things to be easy and playful goes against everything we’ve learned about independence, self-reliance, hard work and success. Letting ourselves enjoy the process is sometimes the hardest part.
